WHAT SUBJECTS WILL I TEACH?
I am proficient to teach History, English (Literature and Language), Theatre, and Hindi. In addition, I will focus on strengthening your writing, proofreading, and editing skills to make you a precise and profound writer, who will be able to tackle all forms of essays that we all have to write throughout our educational journey. In addition, I will provide guidance on self-development skills encompassing productivity and time-management.
WHAT IS MY SPECIALIZATION?
I am studying to earn a double degree in journalism and dramatic literature, which makes 'writing and editing' my specialization. I can help you master your university application essays along with substantially improving any and all essays, books, blogs, journals etc. you pen down. I pride myself on my time-management skills amongst other self-development skills, so if you're looking to build a healthy lifestyle, this is the place for you.
WHAT ARE MY QUALIFICATIONS?
I am an undergraduate student at New York University, New York studying journalism and dramatic literature with an excellent academic standing. Previously, I have fulfilled all the requirements of the IB Diploma Program (with English, Theatre, and History as my Higher Level subjects). I have mentored students previously and have assisted a number of students in their essay writing for the university application process as well as essays written during high school. HOW WILL I TEACH?
I am located in New York City, United States. I will be available in-person if you reside in the city. However, most of my students contact me via Skype, Zoom, or similar online platforms due to geographical and time differences. The date, time, and duration of the session will be decided mutually with the student.
HOW WILL THE SESSIONS BE STRUCTURED?
Each student has different needs. After having an informal, unpaid session with the student and thoroughly comprehending his or her requirements, I will discuss the plan with him or her to optimize his or her growth and learning. For the most part, each session will be about an hour long with me either going over the student's essay or teaching him or her a certain portion of the particular subject. Currently, all sessions are one-on-one. If the student only requires one or a couple of sessions, then that is what will be done. There is no fixed duration.
WHAT IS MY FEE?
I offer some sessions free of cost and others which vary between $5-$12. The final cost will be decided when you contact me for an informal, unpaid meeting.
